Dear Reader...
When our strength begins to diminish; who do we turn to? Do we seek for a greater strength or do we just give into the weakness, that we are facing for the moment?
Just as a car needs gas to run on; we need strength, so we can face what God has called us to do for the day. When a car is almost out of gas; we take it to the gas station and fill it up, so we can continue to drive the car. Where do we go, when the tank of strength within us is almost on empty? Do we just become like… Continue

Thursday, November 26, 2009...Thanksgiving Day!

Dear Reader...
As I awoke this morning; I looked out into the foggy early daylight, that was just beginning to peak back at me. As I viewed the last fallen leaves on the ground and felt the dampness in the air; these memories were taking me back to the Thanksgiving days, as a young girl. The feeling never seems to leave the air; whether you are 10 years old or 50 years old.
As I began to move around early this morning; my husband and I carried out our tradition, of stuffing the turkey and gettin… Continue

Dear Reader...
Tonight is Thanksgiving Eve and many are in preparation for their get togethers with family and friends. Soon, the aroma of turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie will fill the air of many kitchens.
As I think of this holiday; here in our own home; I also think about the ones who will not enjoy this kind of a day. My thoughts are filled with people that are in our military. Many are overseas and many never made it home this year for Thanksgiving. There may be tables, where there will be… Continue

Dear Reader...
Well...we are only 2 days away from Thanksgiving. My prayer, is that you all will have a special day!
No matter if we are sitting down with our families for Thanksgiving or whether we are alone or serving in the military overseas or in a hospital or nursing home; we all have something to be thankful for. Enjoying a turkey dinner with friends and family make nice memories but connecting with the One who is always our provider makes this day even more special.
In this world we live… Continue

Dear Reader...
Today, as I was catching up on some things; I was wondering why we can feel as though we are in a stand still with God? Seems like we can be going merrily along; traveling a steady pace with God and then all of a sudden; life seems to be in a stand still.
As I was thinking about this over the weekend and today; I began to realize, that we can get so caught up with God leading the way; that we just walk along, without sharing our moments with God. We can be depending on God so much… Continue

Dear Reader...
Today, as my husband and I read the devotional I wrote, for my page... "Time With God"; we learned that not only do we need to view our circumstances through God's eyes but we also send a message to God, by how we react to our circumstances.
If we are facing a problem in life and we are reacting in a negative way, then we will continue to find the problem before us but when we can react in a positive way, this reaction will cause us to remain plugged into God, then we will reap fr… Continue
